Our Mission

A map of the Caribbean islands.

We help clients trace their ancestors from the Caribbean and Latin American countries -- Panama and Costa Rica -- to build their family trees. We navigate the Caribbean's vast diversity of languages, cultures, religions, and ethnicities to uncover familial connections. In particular, the genealogist specializes in family histories of Enslaved People, Free People of Color, and British Settlers from 18th and 19th century Jamaica.

Most of our clients live in the United Kingdom, Canada, and the United States. We are based in the Mid-Atlantic region in the United States -- the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia. Our research resources include the National Archives and the Library of Congress, in addition to online repositories. We examine a wide range of records that include vital records, church records, wills, patents, deeds, almanacs, administrative records, slave records, manumissions, and newspapers. We also specialize in genetic genealogy to help clients uncover relationships with their DNA cousins.
